Inspiration can strike anywhere, a place you visit, a photograph, shape of the shadows indoors..., the inspiration for this piece came from the viscous ink and its smooth flow that I came across in a screen printing class. Shapes natural and constructed fascinate me and the play on shapes is a common theme across my paintings.
